Who are we?

Farming International- machinery and consultancy- is an Overseas consultancy group established by Andrew Friend in 1980 for training, consultancy and export programmes to countries with developing agricultural and rural businesses.

Andrew has worked as a farmer, consultant and trainer in a number of developing countries for 40 + years. Recent work has included rural development programmes in Eastern Europe and East Africa funded by the EU, DFID and FAO/UN- based in Rome.

We are ex-dairy farmers in North Devon- with Pedigree British Friesian and Holsteins in our last herd of 300 cows and heifers. We now farm arable crops- 400 acres of Winter wheat for bread making and feed and Winter oats for porridge and muesli contracts.. We understand farming inputs and equipment !
